Cohort Learners

Creating Your Account

1. To join a cohort, you'll need an invite code from your Advisor.
2. You may receive this in one of two ways:
   • Via email: Click "Sign Up Now" in the invitation email. Your invite code will already be applied on the sign-up page. Confirm your info, set a strong password, review the privacy policy and terms of use, then click Continue.
   • Directly from your Advisor: Follow the instructions they provide. The sign-up flow is the same.

Completing Onboarding

1. After signing up, you'll be guided through a short onboarding (2-3 minutes).
2. Enter basic information about your career goals and where you are in your career search.
3. Upload or paste in your resume.
4. Answer the survey questions to finish.

Tip: The information you provide helps Coach give you more accurate and relevant support throughout your career journey.

Navigating the Dashboard

1. The main area shows your assignments (created by your Advisor) and recommended activities based on your onboarding responses.
2. Use the left sidebar menu to navigate to Assignments, the Activity Library, or your past chats.
3. In the lower left corner, you can access Help, Feedback, and Settings. Settings can be accessed by clicking on your name. 
4. In Settings, you can update your account info, turn off chat memory, or review what Coach knows about you.

Tip: On mobile, tap the menu icon in the top left to expand the sidebar.

Managing Assignments

1. Click "Assignments" in the sidebar to view your current assignments.

   

2. Each assignment shows the number of activities, estimated completion time, and due date. Any specific instructions from your Advisor will appear here too.

   

3. As you work on assigned activities, your progress will update.
4. When finished with an assigned activity, click "Submit Assignment".

Finding Activities

1. Click "Find Activities" in the sidebar menu to open the Activity Library, where you can explore activities beyond your assignments.
2. Browse the full list by scrolling, or use the Search bar to find something specific.

3. Toggle to "Modules" to explore activities grouped by broader career topics like skill development or career exploration.

   

4. Open the right sidebar and ask Coach directly to suggest an activity.

Chatting with Coach

1. Type your message in the text box at the bottom of the screen, or click the microphone icon to speak. Your spoken words will appear in the text box before you send.

   

2. Coach supports dozens of languages.

Tips for better chats:

• Be specific. Include details like your interests, education level, or the exact scenario you need help with.
• Do not share personal information such as email addresses, phone numbers, or physical addresses.
• Treat Coach's first response as a starting point. Ask follow-up questions, refine your prompts, and request rewrites.
• You can restart any activity at any time.

Accessing Past Chats

1. Click "History" in the sidebar to view your past conversations.

2. To save a specific message, click the bookmark icon below any Coach response during a chat.

   

3. Access your saved messages under the "Saved" tab in History.
